good choice! We hope you will be satisfied about its functioning.
To get maximum profit from your infra red heater, it is important to read this manual
attentive and totally before use, and to understand what is written. Read especially
the safety instructions: they are there to protect you and your environment.
Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference. Store also the package: that is
the best protection for your heater in times of no-use. And if you at any time pass the
appliance on, pass on the manual and package too.
INTRODUCTION
Your EUROM PD1500 terrace radiator is designed for household use outdoors. It is
provided with two halogen heating elements, which can be used separately or
together.
Use the terrace radiator only for the purpose for which it has been designed: the
heating of a terrace, garden or other household outdoor space, and not for the
heating of an indoor space, a non-household outdoor space or the drying of textiles
or other materials.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons etc. For this reason, read
the safety instructions, but also the assembly and operating instructions
conscientiously before operating the appliance.
Only use the EUROM PD1500 terrace radiator on a steady, sound, flat and fully
horizontal floor. The entire surface of the base must be in contact with the floor.
The terrace radiator is only intended for household use. You should not therefore
use it on construction sites, in glasshouses, barns or stalls etc., even if they are
largely open. There is usually too much flammable material there.
Only use the terrace radiator outdoors or in a large open space. Keep all
flammable objects such as tarpaulins, parasols, branches, furniture, curtains,
paper etc. out of the way of the device (at least 1 metre, also if they are swaying!).
The distance to the walls must be at least 1 metre. If you place the device under a
roof, there must be a space of at least 50 cm between the cap of the terrace
radiator and the (non-flammable) ceiling. With a flammable roof (wood, plastic,
tarpaulin etc.) this distance must be at least 1 metre. Always ensure good
ventilation!
Do not place the device in the area immediately around a bath, washroom,
swimming pool or other water supply.
Ensure there is sufficient light. The switches on the device must be properly visible
from a distance of 1 metre, and easily accessible.
Do not store any burnable liquids or materials like paint, petrol, gas tanks etc. in
the immediate surroundings of the appliance. Don't use the appliance in
flammable ambience, such as near by combustible gastanks, gastubes or spray
cans. Danger of explosion and fire!
Don't locate the appliance just above or below a wall socket.
This device must be connected to an earthed plug that is properly visible and
accessible. Check (before use) if the voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds to the tension of the electric point to which you want to connect it.
The power supply should correspond to the relevant regulations and the national
