Take care! Risk of burns from residual heat.
Let the appliance cool down.
Cleaning the appliance after each use
1. Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and a little washing up liquid.
2. Rub the appliance dry using a clean cloth.
Removing deposits
1. Remove heavy deposits from the hotplates using fine scouring powder or a
scouring pad.
2. Wipe off residues with a damp cloth.
3. Then heat the hotplate to a low temperature and leave to dry.
4. To maintain the hotplates, rub in a little sewing machine oil now and again and
then polish off with absorbent paper.

Important: Do not clean the stainless steel edge of the hob with scouring pow-
der or a scouring pad as this will leave scratches!
For stainless steel hobs only use suitable stainless steel cleaning and mainte-
nance products. Please the manufacturer's instructions.

The stainless steel edge of the plate can be slightly discoloured as a result of
thermal load. This process is caused by the physical properties.
