Warning: Read the safety instructions before installing the snow chains!
•
Accident hazard! Read the safety instructions before installing the snow chains!
•
The snow chains come with plastic gloves to protect your hands.
•
Put them on before you assemble them.
Assembly sequence per step:
1. Positioning the snow chain
Put the snow chain on the wheel.
The thread ring must be behind the wheel.
2. Close thread ring
Align the thread ring:
- Centre the thread ring (1) on the inside of the
tyre. Attach the thread ring (1) to the
thread ring closure (2).
- The centre chain links (M) must be centred on
the tyre thread.
3. Close securing chain
Hook the link on the end of the securing chain
(3, yellow) into the securing hook (4).
Important: do not attach the securing hook
to intermediate links, thus leaving a loose
chain part.
4. Close chain hook
Lead the tension chain (6, red) through the
tension lock (5) and tension the snow chain.
Then guide the chain through the tension ring
(7) and attach the tension hook (8) diagonally to
one of the yellow chain links.
Note: If necessary - depending on the size of the
wheel - guide the tension chain (6) diagonally
around several yellow chain links.
Important: Tighten the tensioning chain sufficiently! The rubber part of the tension chain must
be stretched.
