CAUTION
Hearing damage
Prolonged exposure to the device in operation at close
quarters can cause hearing damage. Wear hearing
protection!
A certain amount of noise from this device is unavoidable.
Schedule noisy work for approved and designated times.
If necessary, observe quiet times and limit the duration
of work to what is absolutely necessary. Wear suitable
hearing protection for your own personal protection and
that of others in the vicinity.
Information on noise emission in accordance with the Pro-
duct Safety Act (ProdSG) and the EC Machinery Directive:
The sound pressure level at the workplace can exceed 80
dB (A). In this case, soundproofing measures are required
for the operator (e.g. wearing hearing protection).
APPLICATION TIPS
A medium cutting height is recommended for most
lawns. If you cut too low, the quality of the lawn will
deteriorate.
If the engine is working hard, the engine speed will drop
and the engine noise will change. Increase the cutting
height to reduce the engine load.
When mowing tall grass, reduce the speed at which the
device is pushed.

Switch the appliance off and remove the contact
key before any adjustment, cleaning and servicing
work. Wait until all rotating parts have stopped
and the appliance has cooled down.
Keep hands away from all cutting edges and
moving parts. Fingers can be pulled into cutting
carriage and be cut or crushed.
NOTE
When not in use, the battery should be charged to about
50% and stored at room temperature (5°C to 20°C). For
longer storage periods, the battery must be recharged
once a year to avoid a complete discharge.
After every work stint, clean the machine thoroughly
to remove all dust and debris, and repair or replace any
faulty parts.
Check the collection bag at regular intervals for any wear
and aging.

Please note: According to the German Machine Noise
Protection Ordinance of September 2002, this device
may not be operated in residential areas on Sundays and
public holidays, or between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on
weekdays. In addition, the ban on operation applies at the
following times of day: from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., from
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Please also observe the national regulations for noise
protection.

An overlapping working method is recommended when
mowing.
Mow 1-2 times a week during the main growing season.
Once the grass has grown longer (>10 cm), you should
only halve the grass height. The optimum section length
is 4 cm. Carry out several passes.
Clean the ejection opening and cover at regular intervals.
Keep the device, in particular the air vents, clean at all
times. Never spray water on the device body!
Never clean the machine and its components with
solvents, flammable or toxic liquids. Us only a damp cloth
making.
Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equip-
ment is in safe working condition;
Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance can
serve as a satisfactory aid. Insufficient maintenance and
care can lead to unforeseen accidents and injuries.
Repairs and works specified in these Instructions may
only be performed by qualified authorised staff.
Use only original accessories and original spare parts.
Using other spare parts can result in accidents/injuries of
the user. The manufacturer will not be liable for any such
damage.
