Digital alarm clock with pen holder
• Remove the battery interruption strip for the button cell battery
in the inner battery compartment (screwed).
• Optional: Insert three new AAA 1.5 V batteries, polarity as illus-
trated.
• Close the battery compartment.
• Insert the USB-C plug into the port and connect the device to a
suitable USB power source, such as a computer, or use a suit-
able power adapter (not included).
• A beep tone is heard and 0:00 appears on the display.
• Note: If the CR2032 battery is too weak or not inserted during
initial start-up, the hour display starts to flash automatically
after a test run (the numbers 0000 to 9999 appear on the dis-
play). Set the time and date as described in set mode.
6. Operation
6.1 Manual settings
• Press and hold the UP or DOWN button in setting mode for fast
mode.
• The device will automatically quit the setting mode if no button
is pressed for 10 seconds.
6.1.1 Set mode
• Press and hold the SET button in normal mode for three seconds.
• d-1 (default) will be flashing. Press the UP or DOWN button to
adjust the display mode.
• Press the SET button to make the settings in the following
sequence: automatic dimming mode (A-of - default), the hours,
the minutes, the year, the month and the day. Press the UP or
DOWN button to adjust each setting.
• Confirm the setting with the SET button.
6.1.1.1 Display mode
• Each press on the UP button in normal mode will change the
display between: Time, date or indoor temperature. Choose
between three display options in set mode:
– d-1: The last selected display is permanently shown
(default).
– d-2: After 10 seconds, the display automatically reverts to
the clock mode.
– d-3: Time, date and indoor temperature in sequence
6.1.1.2 Automatic dimming mode
• By default, the automatic dimming function is disabled (A-of).
• If the auto-dim mode is activated (A-on), the weak display light
turns on automatically at night (see "Display light").

6.1.2 Alarm time setting
• Press the SET button in normal mode to enter the alarm setting
mode.
• 6:00 (default) or the last adjusted alarm time appear on the dis-
play.
• The hour digits flash.
• Press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the hours.
• Confirm with the SET button.
• Set the minutes in the same way.
• Confirm with the SET button.
• To activate the alarm function slide the ALARM switch to ON.
• The alarm symbol appears on the display.
• When the adjusted alarm time is reached, the alarm rings.
• Press any button and the alarm will stop.
• If the alarm is not stopped manually, the ascending alarm tone
automatically turns off after 3 minutes and it will be reactivated
at the same set time on the following day.
• The alarm symbol remains on the display.
• To deactivate the alarm function, slide the ALARM switch to OFF.
The alarm symbol disappears.
7. Display light
7.1 Operation with USB-/mains connection
• Attention: Continuous illumination of the display only works
with USB-/mains connection.
• To change the brightness of the display (3 levels), press the
DOWN button in normal mode (L1=bright, L2=middle, L3=weak).
• If the auto dimming mode is activated (A-on), the weak display
light (L3) turns on automatically at 7 pm and switches off again
at 6.59 am.
7.2 Battery operation (power-saving mode)
• To activate the display, touch the alarm clock or make a loud
sound (such as clapping your hands).
• The illuminated display turns on for 20 seconds.
8. Care and maintenance
• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or
scouring agents.
• Unplug the device and remove the batteries if the device will not
be used for an extended period of time.
• Store the device in a dry place.
8.1 Battery replacement
• Change the batteries 3 x 1,5 V AAA when the illumination in
pure battery operation becomes weak.
• When the CR2032 battery is used up, see "Getting started". If
necessary, change the battery:
