Before first use
•
Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete and that all accessories
are included.

Fully unwind the power cord.
•
Clean the appliance as described under Cleaning and Gare.
(Dlf any items are damaged or missing, contact your dealer or customer service.

Warning: Plastic bags are a danger to toddlers and babies, therefore keep them away to avoid
suffocation.
Protective coating
The heating elements do have a protective coating. This could cause a slight build-up of smoke and odour.
This doesn't cause any harm nor does it mean that your appliance does not work properly. Make sure that
the room is weil ventilated!
Thermal safety cut-out
The appliance also features a thermal safety cut-out which will automatically switch off the appliance,
should it accidentally overheat.
In the event of such a safety cut-out switch off the appliance immediately, unplug it and let it cool down for
approx. 5-10 minutes. Afterwards, the appliance is ready for use again.
Assembly
1 . Place the bowl onto the base, carefully press it down and make sure that the locking lugs are securely
inserted into the indents of the base. Turn the bowl anti-clockwise and make sure that it locks into place.
2. Place the splash guard onto the bowl and make sure that it engages.
3. Insert the spinner head/sugar container onto the driving shaft. Make sure that it is properly attached.
To disassemble the appliance follow reverse order.
Operation
Make sure that the appliance is fully assembled!
