USE
1.
Open the lid of the appliance, and use the thermo jug to add the required amount of water to the
water reservoir. Do not exceed the maximum mark.
2.
Insert a paper 昀椀lter (size 4) into the removable 昀椀lter.

Add the desired amount of co昀昀ee to the 昀椀lter and move the water discharge tube so that it is
positioned above the 昀椀lter. Close the lid.
4.
Place the lid on the thermo jug. Make sure the little arrow on the lid corresponds to the middle icon
on the jug. Insert the glass carafe horizontally into the co昀昀ee maker. Put it on the keep-warm plate,
under the drip stop.
5.
Plug the power cord into the outlet and press the on/o昀昀 button. The indicator light will light up and
the co昀昀ee maker will start brewing. You can remove the carafe from the co昀昀ee maker at any chosen
time for a maximum of 30 seconds to pour co昀昀ee. The appliance will stop dripping automatically.
6.
The co昀昀ee is ready about one minute after the co昀昀ee stops dripping from the appliance.
7.
The 昀椀nal amount of co昀昀ee will always be a little less than the amount of water you put in, because
the co昀昀ee absorbs water.

To pour the co昀昀ee, make sure the little arrow on the lid corresponds to the icon that pours co昀昀ee on
the jug (closest to the pouring spout). Be careful while pouring, the co昀昀ee is hot right after brewing.
9.
For safety reasons it is considered wise to keep the lid on the carafe. This way the co昀昀ee also stays
warm.
10. The device will keep the co昀昀ee warm for up to 4,5 minutes. Afterwards, the device will shut o昀昀
automatically. To maintain an optimal co昀昀ee taste, it is best to serve the co昀昀ee right after brewing.
11.
Always make sure that the co昀昀ee maker is switched o昀昀 and unplug the power cord from the outlet
when the appliance is not in use.
POINTERS FOR GREAT COFFEE
A clean co昀昀ee maker is essential to make great tasting co昀昀ee. Clean the appliance regularly according

to the guidelines. Always use fresh, cold water in the co昀昀ee maker.
Store co昀昀ee in a dry and cool place.

Do not reuse any co昀昀ee, as this will greatly a昀昀ect the taste of your co昀昀ee. We also do not recommend

reheating co昀昀ee.
SETTING THE TIME
1.
Put the plug in the socket. The display will show "12:00".
2.
Press the program button to set the time. The display will show "CLOCK".
3.
To set the correct time, press the hours button and the minutes button.
4.
Once the time has been set, press the program button three times to con昀椀rm the time.
SETTING THE TIMER
1.
Prepare the appliance to set co昀昀ee as indicated under "use" but do not press the on/o昀昀 button yet.
2.
Press the program button twice to set the timer. The display will show "TIMER".
3.
To set the timer, press the hours button and the minutes button.
4.
Press the program button to con昀椀rm the timer. The time and the set timer will appear on the display
alternatively. The indicator light will now turn green.
5.
The co昀昀ee will begin to run at the time that has been set using the timer.
