BEFORE THE FIRST USE
•
Packaging material is not a child's toy. Children must not play with the plastic bags.
•
Remove all parts from the packaging and remove all packaging materials. Also remove any transport locks.
•
Check the scope of delivery for completeness and damage and clean the unit.
•
Do not operate the device if there is visible damage to the device or the connecting cable or if the device base has
been dropped beforehand.
COMMISSIONING
1.
Place the device on a dry, level, non-slip surface.
2.
Remove the kettle from the base (3) and open the lid (6) of the kettle.
3.
Fill the kettle up to the mark indicating the maximum filling level (5) and close the previously opened lid (6).
4.
Place the kettle back on the base.
5.
Insert the mains plug into an easily accessible socket whose voltage corresponds to the specification on the type
plate.

Heat the water by pressing the switch (1).

Pour out the water and rinse the inside of the kettle with fresh water.

After you have repeated this procedure once, the device is ready for use.
CLEANING

Remove the power plug from the socket.

Clean the outside of the kettle with a dry cloth. In case of heavier soiling, the cloth may be slightly moistened. In
this case, dry the kettle thoroughly after cleaning.

We recommend cleaning the kettle after each use.
•
If the water contains a lot of lime, we recommend regular descaling with an agent suitable for cleaning kitchen
appliances.
REMOVE MINERAL DEPOSITS

To ensure the efficient operation of your kettle, you should remove the mineral deposits left by the water at regu-
lar intervals according to the water quality in your area and the frequency of use.

We recommend descaling the kettle with a solution of white vinegar and cold water. A solution of two tablespoons
