Operating Conditions
• The device may only be operated at 230V / 50/60HZ AC Voltage.
• The allowed ambient temperature may not exceed 45°C during operation.
• The device is designed for use in dry rooms.
• At formation of condensed water a period of acclimatisation of up to 2h has to
be ensured.
• The device has to be protected from moisture and spray water!
• Do not operate the device in environments in which flammable gases or vapours
exist or may be existent.

Model HTS-1 and HTS-2
• Make a 10mm hole and two smaller holes for the screws into the surface on which
you want to mount the lampholder. Put the power cable through the upper part of
the pull relief, the 10mm hole and the bottom part o the pull relief. Do not secure
the pull relief now.
• Press down the retention pin inside the lamp holder by using a screwdriver and
remove the lamp holder ring. Now you can remove the inner piece with the elec-
trical contacts.
• Pull the power cable through the upper part of the lamp holder and pull the white
silicon tubes over the cable ends as additional insulation. Connect the end splices
of the cable to the electrical contacts of the lamp holder. Make sure the cable is
inserted into the cable up to the start of the insulation and that the silicon tubes
are fitted properly.

Designated Usage
This device is for indoor use only. All lamps indicated in this manual (see section Sui-
table Lamps) can be used. Mounting has to be made on a normal flammable surface.
Operation inside of terrariums
The installation of the lamp inside the terrarium is at one's own risk. The manufac-
turer has no influence on the conditions inside the terrarium (humidity, temperature,
place of installation etc.) therefore it's up to the consumer to create optimal operating
conditions.

• Screw the lamp holder parts together. Make sure that the middle piece is fitting
properly and that the retention pin snaps in.
• Attach the lamp holder with the screws and nuts to the surface. Secure the pull
relief in order that the cable cannot be twisted or pulled out of the lamp holder
by accident.

• Screw the lamp holder parts together. Make sure that the middle piece is fitting
properly and that the retention pin snaps in.
• The model HTS-3 can be hanged when a chain or something similar is used or the
lamp holder is hanged on a hook. Secure the pull relief in order that the cable
cannot be twisted or pulled out of the lamp holder by accident.
