A. Activate/Deactivate the detector
The device is deactivated by default before leaving our factory.
Before the detector can be used, it must be activated.
Power on: Press and hold the test button (= centre front of detector) until the red LED lights up
and a beep sounds; this takes at least 10 seconds. After you release the test button the detector
is activated and can be used.
Power off: Press and hold the test button (= centre front of detector) until the red LED lights up
twice and a beep sounds twice; this takes at least 10 seconds. After you release the test button
the detector is deactivated and cannot be used.
CAUTION
The installation instructions must be
followed
strictly
conditions.
Do not paint your detector.
The battery cannot be replaced; do not
try to replace the battery as this will
render the detector unusable and can
cause a fire due to the high-capacity
lithium battery.
