Pre-selection of the milling depth
Tool change
Attention!
The Joint Cutter might heat up enormously during operation. You
could burn your hands or get cut or ripped by the segments. Therefore,
always use protective gloves when changing the grinding wheel.
Before any work on the tool, disconnect the plug from the mains!
Please be careful to avoid damaging
clinkers and stones when milling.
There are three notches (see arrows) on the
protective cover to maintain the desired
milling line. These should be guided
centrally over the joints.
To adjust the milling depth, open the knurled
screw on the protective cover. Push the spring-
loaded ring of the protective cover as far back
as it will go until the milling tool protrudes from
the cover to the desired milling depth. Hold the
ring in this position. Push the loosened cap,
together with the knurled screw up to the stop
(in the direction of the machine) and tighten the
thumb screw.
Check the adjusted milling depth on a test
surface.
