Safety and operating instructions
Warning
• Make sure you are familiar with the operating instructions before you use
this machine.
• This machine, its attachments and accessories must only be used for the pur-
pose for which they were designed.
General riveting work (not for nailing etc without proper attachments).
• For product liability and safety reasons any modification to the machine, its
attachments or accessories must be agreed in advance with an authorized
technical representative of the manufacturer.
• Before making any adjustments to the machine, e.g. changing an accessory,
please ensure that the air supply is disconnected.
• Use the adjustable hand guard for supporting the machine-
do not hold your hands on the rivet punch.
• The punch retainer spring is designed for use on RRH 04/06/08 only.
• Turn the exhaust guard to the desired position.
For safer use – please note
• Check regularly that the retainer is fully screwed on to the cylinder.
• If different RRH 04/06/08P models are in use at the same workplace all 1.7
mm wire retainers (black) shall be withdrawn and replaced by 2.0 mm wire
retainers (yellow) on all hammers. This is due of safety reasons, i.e. to pre-
vent mixing up the retainers and using the wrong type on the wrong hammer
model.
This machine does not satisfy the normal requirements for use in explosive
environment as the machine casing contains aluminium.
