16. Disposal of appliances
This appliance is marked in accordance with the European Directive on waste
electrical and electronic equipment
2012/19/EU.
It ensures that the product is disposed of in the correct manner. By disposing
of the appliance in an environmentally friendly manner, you contribute to avoiding
possible health damage due to improper disposal.
The dustbin symbol on the product or the accompanying documents indicate that the
appliance must not be disposed of with household waste. Instead it should be taken to a
collection point for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment.
The disposal must be in accordance with the applicable local regulations. For further
information, please contact your local authority or waste disposal company.
Make appliances unserviceable before disposal:
Children can often not recognise the hazards associated with household appliances.
Therefore ensure the necessary supervision and do not allow children to play with the
appliance.
