BEFORE FIRST USE
1.
Remove all packaging material.
2.
Clean the heating surfaces with a soft damp cloth
then dry them.
3.
Uncoil the mains cable completely.
4.
When first use, the device may give off a slight odor. This is normal and will not last for long.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Connect the device to an appropriate socket. The indicator light illuminates.
2.
As soon as the required temperature is reached, the indicator light will be off and then you can begin
waffle making.
3.
Open the appliance at the handle by unlocking the handle lock.
4.
Add some butter onto the grill plates before each use.
5.
Pour the prepared dough onto the lower heating surface and distribute it evenly. Please ensure that the
dough does not flow over the edge of the heating surface.
6.
Hold the upper heating surface at the handle and close the waffle machine. Make sure that the handle
lock is engaged.
7.
Bake the waffle for approx 3-5 minutes depending upon the degree of browning required.
8.
Open the waffle machine as described above and remove the waffle with a plastic spatula. Do not use any
metal objects (e.g. knife, fork etc.) as they will scratch the coating of the heating surface.
9.
If you wish to bake more waffles, pour in more dough immediately.
10. When you have finished baking, remove the mains plug.

Ingredients
The waffle batter: (minimum 12 waffles)

450g self-raising flour
•
3 eggs
•
150 g melted butter
•
375 g of milk
•
375 g lukewarm water
•
20 g of fresh yeast
•
a pinch of salt
Preparation
•
Weigh all the ingredients carefully.
•
Take two large mixing bowls and separate the eggs, the egg yolks go into the bowl for the batter, the egg
whites we stiffen later. (Note: You can also use a food processor with whisk for preparing the batter.)
