4. Settings
Scan settings By default, FM scans stop at any available station (All stations). This may result in poor quality audio from weak
stations.
Options: All stations | Strong stations only
To change the scan settings, to stop only at stations with good signal strength Select Menu > Scan setting then Strong statio ns
only.
Note: In the example screen on the right, the asterisk indicates 'Strong stations only' is the currently set value.
Audio settings By default, all stereo stations are reproduced in stereo. For weak stations, this may result in poor quality audio.
The audio quality can be improved using mono.
Options: Stereo allowed | Forced mono
To play weak stations in mono Select Menu > Audio setting > Forced mono.
Note: In the example screen on the right, the asterisk indicates 'Stereo allowed' is the currently set value.
BT mode
1. Press [mode] shortly one time, switch from "radio" to "Bluetooth", then "Bluetooth" will show on the LCD display. In a
few seconds it will display the text "waiting BT connection". (when no device was paired before). The unit is ready for
Bluetooth connections.
2. To Connect your Bluetooth device, first open the Bluetooth on mobile phone or other Bluetooth device, then scan or
search the device "Lenco PDR-050", click to connect with "Lenco PDR-050", at the same time you will hear a sound,
Bluetooth connection is made and mobile phone or other Bluetooth device can be used with your Lenco PDR-050. If you
switch off the Bluetooth on mobile phone or other Bluetooth device, then the player will make a sound to notify the
Bluetooth connection is broken.
3. Click "music" key on mobile phone or other Bluetooth device, then the music on mobile phone or or other Bluetooth
device Will be played via your Lenco PDR-050.
4. When playing music you can short press [ENTER] or [ ] to pause/play and use the SKIP+/SKIP- to play the next or
previous song.
5. The volume can be adjusted with the VOLUME+/VOLUME- button.
Bluetooth hands-free call
When receiving a phone call while Bluetooth music is playing, the music stops playing. A ring sound will be heart and a
'incomming call' message will be displayed on the screen. Short press "SKIP" button or "ENTER" to answer the call. The
display will show "Active Call". To end the conversation, press the "SKIP" or "ENTER" key. To reject an incoming call, long
press "SKIP" or "ENTER" when the call comes in.
Aux In mode
When aux in is selected you can play through the AUX 3,5mm connection on the backside of the unit.
To play audio with Aux In mode.
1. Turn the volume low on the radio when possible, the volume of the audio source device.
2. Connect the external audio source to the Aux In 3.5 mm stereo socket.
3. Short press Mode until the display shows Auxiliary Input.
4. Adjust the volume of the PDR-050 and if necessary, the external audio device as required.
Now playing information
When in Aux In mode, the screen shows Auxiliary Input and the power status. Press Info to toggle between time and date.

Charging the PDR-050
1. Insert a micro USB charging cable into the DC 5V socket at the back panel. The red led indicator will light. Charging can
take up to 4 hours. When the battery is fully charged, the led indicator will turn green.
2. When the radio is charging, An animated battery icon appears at the top right hand corner in screen.

the warranty period) you should contact you local dealer.
Important note: It is not possible to send products that need repairs to Lenco directly.
Important note: If this unit is opened or accessed by a non-official service center in any way, the warranty expires.
This device is not suitable for professional use. In case of professional use, all warranty obligations of the manufacturer will
be voided.
