Work area: Keep your work area clean and tidy. Untidy and non-illuminated work areas
can lead to accidents. Keep children and other people at a distance during use of the electric
tool. Any distractions could cause you to lose control of the device. Only use the device for its
intended purpose (see below).
Do not place your hands in contact with the hot air stream or hot parts, at the risk of burns. The
power cable must not enter into contact with hot parts. Do not point the electric welding hot air
tool at a person or animal when it is operating.
A fire may be started if the device is not used with care.
Caution: do not use the device near to inflammable materials. Do not continuously point the de-
vice at the same place. The heat may be conducted towards non-visible inflammable materials.
Do not work with the device in an explosive environment near to inflammable liquids, gases or
dusts. Electric tools produce sparks that may ignite dust or fumes.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Before starting it up, check that the device's rated working voltage and the mains voltage match. If the
device is transported directly from a cold environment to a hot environment, condensation may form.
Allow time for the temperature to gradually balance out. Starting up the device in the presence of condensation
is potentially lethal!
The device's power plug must match the mains power socket. The power plug must never be modified
under any circumstances. Do not use adapters with devices that are not grounded. Non-modified power plugs
and suitable mains power sockets reduce the risk of an electric discharge. Avoid bodily contact with surfaces
that are grounded, such as pipes, radiators, cookers and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric
discharge if your body is grounded. Keep the device away from adverse weather conditions and humidity.
Ingress of water into an electric device increases the risk of an electric discharge. Do not use the cable to
carry or hang up the device, or to remove the power plug from the mains power socket. Keep the cable away
from heat, oil, sharp edges and moving/operating devices. Damaged or twisted cables increase the risk of
an electric discharge. If you are working outdoors with an electric device, only use extension cords that are
approved for outdoor use. Using an appropriate extension cord for outdoors reduces the risk of an electric
discharge. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, by its after-sales service,
or by a similarly qualified person, in order to avoid danger.
PERSONAL SAFETY
This device may only be used by adults who are authorised to do so. In no event may the device be used by
persons with physical, mental or sensory impairments, or by persons lacking in experience and/or knowledge
about its use, unless they are supervised by a competent person who is responsible for their safety or have
received instructions for use of the device. Electric tools are dangerous if they are used by persons lacking
experience. Keep unused electric tools out of the reach of children.
Always pay attention to what you are doing and work sensibly with all electric tools. Never use the device if
you are tired or if you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
