Solution: check with a multimeter whether the NTC (negative temperature coefficient) of the
top and bottom griddles is open. If the circuit is open, replace the NTC and make sure that the
NTC interface is properly connected. Re-insert the interface.
Top griddle heating element open: the top griddle display shows E1.
Bottom griddle heating element: the bottom griddle display shows E2.
Solution: check with a multimeter whether the NTC of the top and bottom griddles are open, i.e.,
whether there is a short circuit. If present, replace the NTC and check if there are any objects on
the NTC interface and remove them.
