Pairing the wireless remote control
9.1
Pairing with the DHE Connect / DHE Touch
instantaneous water heater
A new wireless remote control is paired as follows:
f Select the following menu items one after the other on the
f
programming unit of the instantaneous water heater: "Set-
tings / Service / Wireless / Connect other wireless subscrib-
ers". A pop-up appears to indicate that the device is ready to
be paired; confirm this with OK.
f Press and hold keys "1" and "2" on the wireless remote con-
f
trol for 3 seconds. Pairing takes place automatically and is
acknowledged when "L" is shown on the display.

Pairing with the instantaneous water heater
A new wireless remote control is paired as follows:
1 Button for pairing and unpairing
2 Yellow LED illuminates when wireless remote control is
activated
f To start pairing the wireless remote control briefly press the
f
button. The yellow LED starts to flash. Now press key "1"
on the wireless remote control. A brief flashing of the LED
indicates that pairing was successful. The yellow LED then
extinguishes.
f To unpair the wireless remote control press the key for 5 sec-
f
onds. A brief flashing of the LED indicates that unpairing was
successful. The yellow LED then extinguishes.
