3. Open the snap locks (6 piece) of the clamping ring (⌦F).
4. Remove the filter cover ① from the filter housing ③ (⌦G). PRESS 10000 has an additional exten-
sion ②.
5. Remove the filter from the housing.

③ Filter basket with EHEIM FILTERMEC granulate

6. Clean the filter and the granulate under cold, running water.
7. Clean the inside of the filter housing with a water jet.
8. Install the filter again in reverse order.
9. Reinsert the filter cover in the filter housing
10. Pull the clamping ring upwards and lock the snap locks (⌦F).
When assembling, make sure that the bolt in the clamping ring handle catches in the opening of the
filter housing handle.
Recommended maintenance
▶ The service life of the active carbon fleece is limited to approx. 4 weeks. After this, the fleece
releases the harmful substances back into the water. The fleece can simply be removed or replaced
by a new fleece if necessary.

Check whether the filter is installed
in the correct order.
Clean the filter
