must be astened at all times.
To make sure that the belts are astened properly to the anchoring
points, ater placing your child inside the stroller, pull the end parts
o the belts rmly.
ADJUSTING THE BACKREST
The backrest can be adjusted to dierent positions.
6. To lower the backrest use the rear adjustment system by pushing
on the button and pulling the backrest down to the desired posi-
tion (Fig. 6). On the other hand, to lit the backrest, pull the strap
upwards (Fig. 6A).
WARNING: The child's weight can make these operations more
dicult.
REAR BRAKES
The rear wheels have linked brakes, which can be applied simulta-
neously on both rear wheels by using the support tube.
7. To activate the brakes, press down on the pedal located centrally
(Fig. 7). To release the brakes, press the pedal in the opposite di-
rection (Fig. 7A).
SUN CANOPY
The canopy is already installed on the stroller.
8. To open and adjust the canopy use the ront arch (Fig. 8). The
hood can be extended by opening the zipper (Fig. 8A-8B).
9. Should you need to remove the hood rom the stroller, remove
the astening clip rom the tube (Fig. 9), release the rear arch rom
the plastic pins and pull it out (Fig. 9A). Complete the operations
by removing the Velcro on both sides (Fig. 9B) and the two but-
tons on the back (Fig. 9C). To mount the hood again, carry out the
operations described above in the opposite order, positioning the
astening clip close to the handle joint (Fig. 9D).
ADJUSTABLE LEGREST
The legrest can be used in 2 positions.
10. To use the leg rest in a horizontal position, move the metal sup-
port orward (Fig. 10-10A). To lower it, return the support to its
original position.

Remove the hood as described in paragraphs 8-9.
Remove the bumper bar.
Release the legrest adjustment rod rom the ront tubes and remove
the rod rom the abric pocket. (Fig. 11A and Fig.11B)
WARNING: Keep out o the reach o children.
Release the snap button located beneath the seat. (Fig. 11C)
Remove the abric slots rom the plastic pins (Fig. 11D). Repeat with
the slots beneath the backrest (Fig. 11E).
Remove the two abric ns rom the rails on the two lateral tubes.

12. REMOVING THE BACKREST
Remove the padding o the crotch strap i present.
Remove the backrest adjustment strap rom the two rings on the
side aps o the abric. (Fig. 12A)
Open the zip on the upper end o the backrest and pull out the
plastic panel, taking care to correctly remove the six straps on the
side and lower part o the abric and the crotch strap (Fig. 12B and
Fig. 12C).
13. FITTING THE BACKREST PANEL IN THE FABRIC AGAIN
Fit the plastic panel completely into the abric pocket also helping
yoursel rom the inside and pull out the straps astened to the pla-
stic panel through the abric slots. (Fig. 13A and Fig.13B)
Close the zip at the top o the backrest.
Pull the crotch strap out o the relevant abric slot on the seat. (Fi-
gure 12C)
FITTING THE STROLLER LINING
Fit the abric lining back on the stroller by repeating the steps in-
dicated in the paragraph "removing the seat lining" in the opposite
order.
FOLDING THE STROLLER
WARNING: When opening or closing the stroller, make sure that
your child or other children are at a sae distance.
WARNING: Make sure that during these operations the moving
parts o the stroller do not come into contact with your child.
WARNING: Beore closing the stroller, ensure that the storage bas-
ket is empty.
The stroller has a closing device that can be used with one hand.
14. To old the stroller, press the button "A" behind the handle while
pressing the button "B" (Fig. 14); push down on the handle and
the stroller will close automatically. The stroller will lock itsel in
the closed position. When closed, the stroller stands on its own
(Fig. 14A-14B).
ACCESSORIES
WARNING: The accessories described below may not be included
in some product versions. Careully read the instructions or the ac-
cessories that came with the model you have purchased.
SHOULDER STRAPS AND CROTCH STRAPS
The stroller is tted with padded shoulder straps and a sot crotch
strap to ensure the saety and comort o your child.
15. For assembly, insert the shoulder straps in the buckles (Fig. 15)
and the crotch strap in the relevant padding (Fig. 15A).
WARNING: Adjust the waist belt i necessary by pressing on the
buckles.
WARNING: To guarantee the saety o your child, the saety harness
must always be astened.
CARRY BAG
The stroller eatures a bag/backpack with handle and adjustable
shoulder straps.
RAIN COVER
16. To t the rain cover, asten the Velcro straps around the stroller's
rame, in the positions shown in g. 16 (the steps must be re-
peated on both sides o the stroller).
When you have nished using the rain cover, allow it to dry properly
i it is wet.
WARNING: The rain cover cannot be used on the stroller without
the hood being extended, as it may cause suocation.
WARNING: When the rain cover is tted on the stroller, never leave
it exposed to direct sunlight with your child inside, as the tempera-
ture will rise considerably.
USING THE CAR SEAT ON THE STROLLER
On the Chicco WE stroller it is possible to t the ollowing elements,
which can be purchased separately:
• Kaily car seat
• Kiros i-size car seat with Fast In astening
All car seats or use on the stroller require the special adaptors sold
separately.

SOFT CARRYCOT MOUNTING AND REMOVAL FROM THE
STROLLER
The Chicco WE stroller is compatible with the Chicco Sot Carrycot.
To attach the carrycot to the stroller, remove the bumper bar, com-
pletely lower the backrest and place the legrest in the horizontal
position.
17. Turn the rod under the carrycot base until it is completely open
(Fig. 17-17A); hold the handles in the transport position and
place the carrycot on the stroller with the oot area acing the
handle o the stroller (Fig. 17B).
18. Attach the carrycot to the stroller's rame using the appropriate
straps. The carrycot has two straps with a buckle on each side. Wrap
the straps around the tube o the stroller in the positions shown
in Figure 18. The upper strap must rst be inserted into the abric
loop on each side o the stroller (Fig. 18A). Ater wrapping the straps
around the tube, close the buckles (Fig. 18B), pull the straps until
