3.6 Electrical installation

Fixed electric fittings must be used for installation.
All electric fittings must be installed by an author-
ised electrician.
Fitting or retrofitting an external power supply
control unit to the product or its power supply
must only be performed by an authorized electri-
cian. The control unit must be approved by the
product manufacturer. The relevant standards
and regulations must be followed.

3.6.1 Electrical components

3.6.2 Standard electrical connection - 3x400V
Constant voltage is present at terminals L1, L2
and L3. Before any electrical work is done, the
power supply must be disconnected and se-
cured against activation while the work is in
progress.
A) Wire (L1) - Live – connected to point '1' on the
left-hand safety thermostat.
B) Wire (L2) - Live – connected to point '3' on the
left-hand safety thermostat.
C) Wire (L3) - Live - connected to point '1' on the
right-hand safety thermostat.
D) Yellow wire with green stripe
connected to the terminal for the heating ele-
ment (hexagonal brass)
E) Internal wires from elements to thermostats
are connected to point '4' on the left-hand safety
thermostat and point '2' on both work thermo-
stats. See illustration.
The product can be switched to 1x230V or 3x230V
3.6.3 Fitting instructions
Fitting an external control unit managing the power supply to the product is NOT allowed
without approval from the manufacturer.

The product shall be filled with water before the power is switched on.
The electrical supply to the heater shall be done in accordance with current local regulations

and best practice by a qualified electrician. The product is intended for permanent supply.

Mains cable shall withstand 90°C continuously. A strain reliever must be fitted.

The product must have a clearance for servicing of 40 cm in front of the cover / 10 cm over the highest point.
In the event of damage to the power supply cable, this must be replaced with a suitable power cable
!
in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Must be performed by a qualified electrician.
