NOTE – Handling the control cabinet
Prior to handling (e.g., operation, cleaning, maintenance or
service) the control cabinet, you must have read and
understood the content of this operating manual.
•
Comply with instructions and notes
The relevant accident prevention regulations as well as the
generally-accepted safety engineering and occupational
medicine rules are known.
•
Comply with the regulations and rules.
The control cabinet has been designed and manufactured using
state-of-the-art technology and in accordance with generally-
recognised technical safety regulations.
However, danger to personnel or damage to the control cabinet and
other property is possible when
•
Specifications regarding authorising personnel are ignored
•
the control cabinet is operated improperly
•
the control cabinet is transported, installed and maintained
improperly.
Operate the control cabinet
•
only in fault-free and safe condition
•
keeping safety and danger in mind.
The Chapter "Safety Notes" contains fundamental hazard-related
notes as well as work and safety regulations for using the control
cabinet.
•
Compliance with the instructions provided in this chapter is
essential for safe use and fault-free operation.
•
Compliance with the additional hazard-related information
provided in the subsequent chapters of this operating manual
is also required.
Relevant hazard-related information precedes the relevant
actions.
•
Hazard-related information regarding third-party components
can be found in the corresponding supplier documentation.
Compliance with this hazard-related information is also
mandatory.
