Residual current circuit breaker
The required residual current device must be incor-
porated in the indoor installation (in accordance with
IEC 60364-7-722 (in Germany in accordance with
DIN VDE 0100-722)).
„ The device has a differential current sensor
for DC residual current monitoring > 6 mA
with tripping characteristics in accordance
with IEC 62955.
„ The device must be protected by a residual
current circuit breaker. At a minimum, a
type A residual current circuit breaker must
be used.
„ No other circuits may be connected to this
residual current circuit breaker.
„ Compliance with national regulations is man-
datory.

When delivered, the front enclosure part (2) is not
attached with screws. The screws (1) are stored in the
enclosed accessory bag.
f Switch off the power supply.
f Unscrew screws (1) if necessary.
f Fold the upper housing section (2) downward.

5.5 Mounting the device on the wall

Device damage due to an uneven surface
If the device is mounted on an uneven surface the under-
part of the enclosure can warp. In this case the specified
protection class is no longer ensured. Consequential dam-
age of electronic components can occur.
f Only mount the device on level surfaces.
f If necessary, level out uneven surfaces with suitable

measures.

In the packaging box of the device, a drilling template,
including a water level with instructions to help with
horizontal mounting are included.

At low minus temperatures, the device should be
temporarily stored for 24 hours at room tempera-
ture before installation and commissioning.
