29. Make sure that the lid of the appliance is always completely
closed, to prevent injuries from hot splashing water.
30. Avoid overfilling the container.
31. Only use the steam function to steam food.
32. To prevent damage never operate the appliance without having
filled it with sufficient water.
33. Make sure that all users, especially children, are aware of the
danger of injury from emerging steam or hot splashing water –
danger of burns!
34. The surface of the lid becomes hot during operation. Conse-
quently, use pot holders if necessary.
35. Do not move the appliance as long as it is in operation, to prevent
burns from splashing water.
36. To avoid damage, do not use the appliance with accessories of
other manufacturers or brands.
37. Unplug the mains plug from the electrical outlet after use and
before cleaning. Never leave the appliance unattended when the
mains plug is plugged in.
38. Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning it.
CAUTION:
The appliance becomes extremely hot during operation! Danger
of burns due to escaping steam!
Never open the housing of the appliance. This can result in
electric shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.
BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
1.
Remove all packaging materials and any transport safeguards. Keep packag-
ing materials away from children – danger of suffocation!

Clean all parts with a damp cloth, as described in the section „Cleaning
and care".
3.
Check to make sure that the appliance is stable.
