4.1 Attaching the adapter plate
Illustrated instructions
The rotary button is attached to the wall by means of the
adapter plate. The adapter plate can either be stuck to the
wall with adhesive or fastened to the wall using screws. The
holes for the screws on the adapter plate also match those
for standard switch fittings.
Fastening the adapter plate with adhesive strips
1. Clean the surface to which you wish to attach the adapter
plate and clean the back of the plate.
2. Remove the protective film from one side of one of the ad-
hesive pads.
3. Stick adhesive strips to the back of the adapter plate at
the top.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the right, bottom and left (see
illustrations).
5. Press the adapter plate against the wall for a few seconds,
lined up straight and with the adhesive strips facing the
wall.
> The adapter plate is now attached to the wall.
Fastening the adapter plate with screws
1. Make sure that the section of the wall you wish to attach
the bracket to is flat and suitable for a drilling depth of
40 mm.
