4. Tap out both fi lters and clean them
with a soft brush if necessary. They
can also be rinsed out with clear wa-
ter, but they must be completely dry
before they are assembled!
5. Wipe the dust container with a damp
cloth if necessary and then dry it or
allow it to dry in the air. Never as-
semble wet or damp components or
attach them to the motor unit (3)!
6. When all components are dry, insert
the EPA8 fi lter into the metal fi lter and
twist it anticlockwise to secure it.
7. Insert the metal fi lter into the dust
container and twist it anticlockwise to
secure it.
8. Close the dust container.
Cleaning the Exhaust Air Filter
1. Press the release button (24) to open
the fi lter compartment cover (23).
2. Pull the exhaust air fi lter out of the
exhaust air fi lter compartment (22).
3. Tap out and brush out the exhaust air
fi lter and the exhaust air fi lter com-
partment. The exhaust air fi lter can
also be rinsed out with clear water,
but it must be completely dry be-
fore it is assembled!
4. Insert the cleaned exhaust air fi lter
into the exhaust air fi lter compartment
and fl ip the fi lter compartment cover
shut.
Cleaning the Motor Unit, Extension
Tube and Nozzles
•
Wipe down the motor unit (3), the
extension tube (5) and the nozzles (1,
7, 8) with a damp cloth if necessary.
Then wipe them dry.
•
Remove hair and fl uff from the nozzles
and brushes.

Cleaning the Floor Nozzle
To make it easier to clean, the brush can
be removed from the fl oor nozzle (7):
1. Turn over the fl oor nozzle so that the
bottom is pointing upwards.
2. On the right side there is a catch next
to the small wheel. Slide the catch
outwards.
3. Take out the brush and remove any
dirt and contamination.
4. Reinsert the brush. When you do this,
insert the end with the star-shaped
recess fi rst. Then press the other end
into the holder until it engages.
5. Slide back the catch.
Storage
•
Store the device and accessories in
a cool, dry place which is protected
from direct sunlight and is out of the
reach of children and animals.
•
The 2 in 1 upholstery and brush noz-
zle (1) and crevice nozzle (8) can be
plugged onto the nozzle holder (6) on
the extension tube (5) (Picture E).
•
Hang the motor unit (3) with the suc-
tion opening (21) facing downwards
into the wall mounting bracket (4).
The button for opening the dust con-
tainer fl ap (19) must rest in the hollow
of the wall mounting bracket.
To prevent a deep discharge of
the battery, charge it up every
3 months if it is not used for a
prolonged period.
