Ensure that no existing cables or pipes (including water pipes) are damaged when drilling mounting holes
or securing screws.
Do not overtighten the screws. This may damage the threads and reduce the strength of the fitting.
Look after your own safety when using electric tools (e.g. a drill). Refer to the safety information in the
corresponding instructions.
Do not drill or screw additional screws into the casing in order to secure the device. This may expose you
to a dangerously high voltage when the device is touched.
• Step 1: Mark the drill holes in a distance of 400 mm. Use a spirit level to
ensure a horizontal fitting. The diameter of the bore holes depends on the
condition of the wall and the dowels used. The scope of delivery includes
dowels (Ø 6 mm x 25 mm) and screws (Ø 4 mm x 32 mm). Verify before
working whether they are suitable for mounting the product to your wall.
• Step 2: Insert a dowel into the drill hole. Make sure that the wall is suitable
for mounting. The included dowels and screws are only suitable for solid
walls (e.g. stone, stable wood). They are not suitable for drywall and
plasterboard.
• Step 3: Use a hammer or the like to fully insert the dowels into the wall.
• Step 4: Turn the screws into the dowels to a distance of 5 mm between the
wall and screw head.
Place the soundbar with the wall fastening lugs (13) over the two screw
heads so that it hangs safely and securely on the wall.
