Cooking temperature: Press the Temp button. The temperature display flashes. You can now set the
required cooking temperature with the + and - buttons. The temperature display is increased or decreased
by 10 °C, starting at 30 °C. The maximum cooking temperature that can be set is 120 °C.

Motor speed: Press the Motor button. The speed display flashes. You can now set the required motor
speed with the + and - buttons. By pressing the button once, the speed is increased or decreased by 1. The

maximum motor speed that can be set is 9.

Press the Start/Stop button to start the appliance. The appliance starts to operate and the set preparation
time starts to count down. If only a motor speed was set, the preparation time counts up. If a cooking

temperature was set, the orange indicator lamp (HEIZEN = heating) lights up.
If you have set a preparation time, cooking temperature and motor speed before starting, these
values can be changed at any time during preparation. Please note that the motor speed cannot
be set to 0!

After expiry of the preparation time the appliance beeps ten times. If a cooking tem-perature was set before

starting, the appliance stops heating. The orange indicator lamp (HEIZEN = heating) extinguishes.
However, the motor continues to operate at the set speed for 10 minutes without interruption. In this case
the appliance can be stopped at any time with the Start/Stop button. If you do not stop the appliance
prematurely, it will beep again after 5 minutes.
If a cooking temperature was set before starting, the appliance automatically stops after expiration of the
preparation time.
If no cooking temperature was set before starting, the appliance automatically stops after 20 minutes and
beeps ten times.
To switch off the appliance, place the ON/OFF switch to O and pull the plug out of the plug socket.

Using the "Knead" programme
1. Connect the appliance to a properly installed, well accessible plug socket and place the ON/OFF switch in
position I. The top line of the display shows 00 : 00 (display of the preparation time) and in the bottom line 0
0 (display of cooking temperature display of motor speed).

If you want to set a cooking temperature, you must first set the preparation time. Else the
Temp button is not activated.
If you do not want to set a cooking temperature, you can set the preparation time and motor
speed in any sequence.
The appliance is designed in such a way that when a cooking temperature is set, a motor
speed must also be set. Else the appliance will not start. A maximum motor speed of 5 can
be set if a cooking temperature has been set.
The appliance can be started even if only the motor speed has been set. In this case the
appliance operates for 20 minutes and then stops automatically.
If a motor speed was set before starting, the motor speed and preparation time can be
changed during preparation.
