For some foodstuff e. g. garlic or onions, we recommend to pre-heat the appli-ance and only
to add the foodstuff later on into the food container.
6. Insert the food container into the base unit so that the arrow ▼ (on the container) points to the opened lock 't
(on the base unit). Turn the food container counter clockwise until the arrow ▼ (on the container) points to
opened, the motor and the preparation time are stopped and the cooking temperature
is switched off. The displays shows the symbol
appliance and the lid locking lever on the base unit is in the cor-rect position, the symbol
disappears. Now press the Start/Stop button. The appliance restarts. The preparation time
counts down from the time when the appliance was previously switched off.

If you want to add small amounts of food or spices etc. to the food container during preparation,
you can just remove the measuring cup from the lid instead of the entire lid, and add the required
foodstuff through this opening in the lid.

Preparation can be interrupted manually at any time by pressing the Start/Stop button.

The appliance is furnished with overload protection. In case of overload, the ap-pliance switches
off automatically. The red indicator lamp (ÜBERLASTUNG = overload) lights up and the
appliance beeps. In this case pull the plug out of the plug socket and wait for 15 minutes before
using the appliance again.
Setting time, temperature and speed manually

Connect the appliance to a properly installed, well accessible plug socket and place the ON/OFF switch in
position I. The top line of the display shows 00 : 00 (display of the preparation time) and in the bottom line 0
0 (display of cooking temperature display of motor speed).

Preparation time: Press the Zeit button (time) once. The minutes display flashes. You can now set the
minutes with the + and - buttons. By pressing the button once, the minute display is increased or decreased
by 1 minute.
Press the Zeit button (time) a second time. The seconds display flashes. You can now set the seconds with
the + and - buttons. By pressing the button once, the second display is increased or decreased by 1
second.
The maximum preparation time that can be set is 90 minutes.

7. Now place the lid on the food container so that the latches of the lid latch
into the notches at the top of the food container (see diagram). Close the lid.
The lid must latch in audibly. Turn the lid locking lever clockwise by 90°.
Preparation
During preparation you can remove the lid at any time, e. g. to place more food
in the food container. Whenever the lid locking lever on the base unit is
