Possible cause
Collector box (2) incorrectly
attached
Overload protection
No mains power supply
Safety switch (3) is not prop-
erly in place on the collector
box (2)
Cylinder running in reverse
Shredding material is too
soft
cylinder is jammed
Pressure plate is incorrectly
adjusted
Fault correction
Push the collector box (2) home to
its correct position, and place the
safety switch (3) on the collector
box (2) to the ON position.
To switch back on, start by turning
the operating mode selection switch
(
9) to the "OFF" position.

Press the reset switch (
Switch the device back on.
Check the socket, cable, lead and
plug for damage, and if necessary,
have any damage repaired by
qualified repair personnel.
Move the safety switch (3) into the
ON position (see section on empty-
ing the collector box)
Change rotational direction using
the switch
Insert wood or shred dried branches
