Fitting/Changing the Adapter (see figure B)
Select the adapter best suited to the intended application:
– Valve adapter (2), e.g. for many bike valves.
– Ball needle adapter (3), e.g. for footballs.
– Volume adapter (4), for small beach items or sporting
goods, e.g. beach balls.
Slide the lid off the adapter storage compartment (1) and re-
move the adapter.
Screw the adapter fully into the pressure hose (9).
For standard car tyre valves (sometimes also used on bikes),
no adapter is required.
Operation

Starting Operation

Switching On and Off
To switch the air pump on or off, press the on/off
button (5). The last set target pressure is saved when
switching off the pump.
When no button on the air pump is pressed for approx.
3 minutes, the air pump automatically switches off to pre-
serve battery life.
Switching the worklight on and off
To switch the worklight (12) on and off, press the change
unit/worklight button (7) for approximately 1 second.
Do not look directly into the worklight; it can blind
u
you.
Changing the Unit of Measurement
For the pressure indicator, the units bar, psi and kPa are
available.
To change the unit of measurement, short press the change
unit/worklight button (7) as many times as needed until the
required unit of measurement appears in the unit of meas-
urement indicator (a).
Inflation
Fit the appropriate adapter to the pressure hose (9) if re-
quired. If present, remove the valve cap on the item to be in-
flated.

Tighten the pressure hose (9) with or without the adapter on
or in the valve. The current pressure in the connected item
appears in the measured value indicator (b).
Inflation with Automatic Switch-off (AUTOSTOP):
– The last set pressure value appears in the target pressure
indicator (e). When using for the first time (factory set-
ting) or when the target pressure was previously deleted,
"−−" appears in the indicator.
– Setting or changing the target pressure: Press the reduce
target pressure button (6) or increase target pressure
button (10) as many times as needed until the required
value is set in the target pressure indicator (e). The value
will change more quickly if the buttons are pressed and
held.
– Press the pump button (11) to start the inflation process.
You can still change the target pressure during the infla-
tion process.
– The inflation process will stop automatically as soon as
the set target pressure is reached. The set target pressure
is saved when switching off the air pump.
Inflation without Automatic Switch-off (MANUAL):
– When inflating without automatic switch-off, there must
be no set target pressure ("−−" in the target pressure
indicator (e)). To delete a set target pressure, press and
hold the reduce target pressure button (6) until "−−" is
displayed.
– Press the pump button (11) to start the inflation process.
The current pressure in the connected item appears in
the measured value indicator (b).
– When the required pressure is reached in the measured
value indicator (b), press the pump button (11) again to
end the inflation process.
