OPERATION
• Do not overload the equipment Ensure that you use the right power tool for the job If you use
the appropriate power tool it will be easier for you to work within the specified power range.

SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Ensure that no body parts come into contact with the blades. Never attempt to remove cuttings
or hold on to any material which you intend to cut while the blades are moving. You should only
remove cuttings which have become stuck when the equipment is switched off. It only takes a
moment's carelessness to end up with severe injuries when using the hedge cutter
• Carry the hedge cutter using the handle when the blades are still Always use the guard when
transporting or storing the hedge cutter You reduce the risk of injuring yourself if you are careful
when handling the equipment
• Always hold onto the insulated gripping surfaces, as the cutting blades can come into contact
with hidden wiring or its own power cable. If the cutting blades come into contact with a live
cable, the equipment's metal parts can become live and give electric shocks.
• Ensure you hold the cable away from the area you are cutting. There is a risk of cutting the cable
if it becomes hidden by the bushes.
