1 White-coated two-handled lever tap with throttle screw

f Adjust the flow rate. For this, observe the maximum permis-
f
sible flow rate with a fully opened tap (see chapter "Specifi-
cation / Data table"). If necessary, reduce the flow rate using
the throttle screw.
f Fill the appliance via the tap fitting. Observe the maximum
f
nominal capacity (see chapter "Specification / Data table").
f Turn the temperature selector to the required temperature.
f
f Press the temperature selector.
f
f Check the function of the appliance.
f
f Draw off hot water via the tap.
f
f Remove the protective foil from the user interface.
f

f Explain the appliance function to users and familiarise them

with its operation.
f Make users aware of potential dangers, especially the risk of

scalding.
f Hand over these instructions.

Fault

The appliance does not
heat up.
The ON/OFF indicator
does not illuminate al-
though the appliance is
switched on.
The flow rate is reduced
when filling the appli-
ance or drawing cold

13. Maintenance
13.1 Servicing the taps
f When carrying out maintenance work on the taps, reduce
f
the water supply by using the throttle screw. Be aware that
the throttle screw is not permanently watertight (see chapter
"Commissioning").
13.2 Checking the earth conductor
f In accordance with DGUV V3, check the earth conductor on
f
the heating element and the earth conductor contact on the
power cable.
13.3 Replacing the power cable
The power cable must be replaced by an authorised contractor
with the original spare part (part no. 020671).
Cause
The heating element/
temperature selector is
faulty.
The ON/OFF indicator is
faulty.
The throttle screw is con-
taminated.
A sealing element is
faulty.
WARNING Electrocution
Before any work on the appliance, disconnect all poles
of the appliance from the power supply.

Remedy
Check the heating el-
ement/temperature
selector and replace the
relevant component if
necessary.
Replace the ON/OFF in-
dicator.
Clean the throttle screw.
Check the sealing sys-
tems and replace the
relevant sealing element
if necessary.
