The appliance does not
heat or heats to a lesser
extent.
The appliance emits a
strange smell.

The plug is not inserted
properly.
There is no voltage on the
socket.
The temperature is set too
low; the thermostat then
switches the appliance
off.
The fuse is blown or
defective.
ECO mode is enabled.
The room in which the
appliance is used is too
large or inadequately
insulated.
There may be some
vapour and odour when
the device is used for the
first time or after a long
period of non-use.
SoLution
Insert the plug properly.
Plug another appliance
into the socket to check if
the socket is faulty. In the
case of a faulty socket,
have it repaired by an
electrician.
Set a higher temperature,
see Section 4.2.
Operating the appliance.
Check the fuse in the
meter cabinet and
replace if necessary.
In ECO mode, the
appliance automatically
heats the room to the set
room temperature. Power
is gradually reduced to
save energy.
Wait a few hours until the
appliance has had the
opportunity to heat the
room.
The vapour or smell is
normal and disappears
on its own after some
time.
