• The appliance has a thermal protection to prevent fire. To
prevent accidental resetting of this thermal protection, this
appliance must not be connected to an external switching
appliance, such as a timer, or be connected to a circuit that is
regularly switched on and off by the energy supplier.
• Never use the device if a part is damaged or faulty. Replace a
damaged or faulty device immediately. Disconnect the power
cable from the wall socket and contact customer service.
• Never use the device if the power cable is damaged. The
power cable may only be replaced by an authorised service
technician.
• Do not insert fingers or objects such as pens through the
grills in the appliance and especially warn children of these
dangers.
• Never drop the appliance and avoid bumping. Excessive
vibrations can lead to loose connections and affect the proper
functioning of the appliance. Do not use the appliance any
more if it has been dropped.
• Do not pass the power cable under a carpet or cover it with
mats, runners and the like. This can lead to unforeseen heat
generation.
• Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the socket
when the appliance is not in use.
• Never pull the power cable to carry or move the appliance or
to disconnect the plug from the socket. Keep the power cable
away from heat, oil, sharp edges and moving parts. Do not
make any changes to the power cable or submerge it in water
or other liquids. Do not turn or kink the power cable, do not
roll up the power cable too tightly after use and do not wind it
up around the appliance; this can damage the insulation layer.
