Maintenance
We recommend regular maintenance and cleaning to extend the life of your pump and ensure
problem-free operation. Any person can perform all the maintenance operations without any problems
in just a few steps, also see assembly/dismantling.
Time intervals:
•
In the initial period, you may check the pump every day to see whether it is functioning properly.
Clean the pump as described above.
•
The time intervals at which the pump must be cleaned largely depend on the level of soiling of the
pond water.
During maintenance, check for wear and tear and for worn out or defective components. Replace worn
out or defective components. For details, please see the list of replacement parts. Important! In hard
water, ensure that the rotor (5) the motor casing (9) are regularly cleaned from inside.
Winter
•
Protect the pump from frost.
•
Remove the pump from the pond during autumn.
•
Clean the pump as described earlier, before putting the pump in storage.
•
Place the pump in a container full of water in a frost-free place to prevent the rubber seals from
drying.
Removal and storage of waste
Electrical home appliances should be disposed of according to EU directives. The product should not
be disposed of with normal household waste but should be collected separately. You are responsible
to ensure that the appliance is returned to a specially designated collection point, to be dismantled and
processed in an environmentally friendly manner.

residence is covered.
