Persons who are not familiar with the operating instructions must not use the pump!
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with physical, sensory or mental
capacity restrictions or lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have obtained training on how to use the appliance.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Design characteristics
•
This high capacity pump is efficient, modem and is equipped with a 6-pole, 3-phase brushless
permanent magnet motor for high efficiency and long life with a substantial starting torque as well
as constant and quiet operation.
•
The rotor is equipped with a high quality ceramic shaft and a highly scratch resistant shaft sleeve.
•
Single chip microcomputer control with several security features, such as: protection against dry
running, overheating, overloading, etc.
•
Submersible pump with a fully resin moulded motor (IP68).
•
External controller with push-button controls and digital display, suitable for capacity control, with a
wattage consumption read out.
Application
These pumps are suitable for pumping water for fountains, filtration plants, streams, waterfalls, etc.
They provide aeration and circulation.
Scope of application: suitable for use in garden ponds, fish ponds, fountains or terrace
fountains (see Figure 1+2)

Important! It may only be used in garden ponds and their protection zones if the installation
conforms to applicable regulations. Please contact an electrician in case of any doubts.
Please refer to the nameplate or the table on page 2 for technical data concerning the pump.
• Always remove the plug from the socket before starting work on the pump, the fountain or pond.
The pump must not be in operation when people are in the water!
(disconnect the power supply to the pump)

Duly comply with the safety regulations.
Scope of application: for swimming ponds (when people are in the water)! (see Figure 3)

The pump is suitable for installation and operation in installations and spaces as per DIN VOE 0100
part 702 and part 737, provided the installation regulations DIN VOE 0100 and the manufacturer's
(installation and operating) instructions are duly followed.
•
When installing the pumps in swimming ponds, comply with the following standards: DIN EN 13451
Part 1 to Part 8 and DIN VOE 0100 part 702 and part 737.
Important! The pump may in this case only be used if the pump is not in the water and is
permanently installed at least 2 metres or more from the water
The following measures should be implemented: (see Figure 3)
•
Make a shaft for the pump with a platform, at least 2 m away from the water's edge.
•
Protect the shaft with a cover.
•
Connect the shaft to a drain to protect the pump from overflowing.
•
Fix the pump to the platform with screws.
•
In the suction line to the pump, install an "M" metal sleeve to the connection in the equi-potential
connection of the swimming pond installation!
