Pump operation (Figure 5):
Operating the pump via the control cabinet.
a. Display for:
•
Enter steps 0-100 by pressing the up (c) and down (d) buttons
•
Indicate power consumption (visible after a few seconds after making the pump settings.)
b. Button for switching the pump on and off.
c. Button for increasing the capacity.
d. Button for reducing the capacity
The pump will return to its last position when it was switched off.
Overload protection
The built-in protection switches off the pump in case of overheating.
Unplug the pump from the mains and allow it to cool.
After cooling down, the pump should not be switched on again without supervision.
First, check the following points:
•
Is sufficient water available?
•
Is the suction strainer clogged?
•
Is there dirt in the pump? (Clean it as described in the instructions)
• Are the hoses and nozzles clogged?
•
Has the pump adequately cooled down?
If the issue has been resolved, you may start the pump by inserting the power cord back into the
socket.
Dismantling: (Figure 7)
•
Follow the safety instructions.
Unplug the power cord.
•
Remove the suction strainer (2) from the pump casing (3) (if present).
•
Unscrew the screws (12) from the counter ring (11).
•
Remove the full pump (9) with the pump casing (3) from the base (10).
•
Remove the pump housing screws (8).
•
Take the pump casing (3) out of the motor housing (9).
•
Remove the rotor (5) from the motor (9). NOTE: the rotor magnet (3) is powerful and will be pulled
back towards the motor with great force (9). Ensure that your fingers do not get clamped in the
process, for example. Pay due attention to the 0-ring (4).
•
Clean all parts with clear water and a soft sponge.
•
Replace defective parts.
Mounting: (Figure 7)
•
Insert the rotor (3) back into the motor (9) NOTE: the rotor magnet (3) is powerful and will be pulled
back towards the motor (9) with great force. Ensure that your fingers do not get clamped in the
process, for example.
•
Replace the 0-ring (4) and see if it is properly fitted.
•
Check whether the rotor (3) can rotate freely.
•
Replace the pump casing (4) on the motor (9) and then evenly tighten the pump casing screws (8).
•
Replace the pump (9) with the pump casing (3) back in the base (10).
•
Place the counter ring (11) and screw it back in place (12)
•
Place the suction strainer (2) back on the pump casing (3), in case the suction strainer (2) is to be
used.
•
Restart the pump after properly reinstalling all the components.
