About the product
2.3.3 Therm.dis./daily heat-up (K)
Thermal disinfection to prevent legionella ( Drinking Water
Ordinance [Germany]) and daily heat-up of the DHW cylinder/s
•
The entire volume of hot water is heated up on a weekly
basis for ½ hour to at least the temperature that has been
set for thermal disinfection.
•
The entire volume of hot water is heated up on a daily basis
to the temperature that has been set for daily heat-up. This
function is not executed if the DHW has already reached the
temperature within the last 12 hours, as a result of solar
heating.
In the solar thermal system configuration, the illustration does
not show that this function was added. "K" is added to the
designation of the solar thermal system.
2.3.4 Heat quantity measurement (L)
V
Selecting the heat meter enables the yield calculation to be
activated.
•
Based on the measured temperatures and the volumetric
flow rate, the quantity of heat is calculated taking account
of the glycol content in the solar circuit.
In the solar thermal system configuration, the illustration does
not show that this function was added. "K" is added to the
designation of the solar thermal system.
The yield calculation only provides correct values if the
volumetric flow rate measuring device operates at 1 pulse/litre.

Freshwater system
Systems with FWS can be expanded with further functions. You
will find examples of possible freshwater systems in the
connection diagrams.
Freshwater system (2)
Freshwater system for DHW heating
•
The freshwater station heats the potable water in
combination with a buffer cylinder according to the
instantaneous water heating principle.
•
Up to four freshwater stations can be cascaded (setting via
coding switch, see Section Setting the coding switch on
page 35)
2.5
Freshwater functions
The required system can be configured by adding functions to
the freshwater system.
2.5.1 Circulation (A)
DHW circulation
•
A DHW circulation pump connected to the module can be
operated with time and pulse control.
2.5.2 Temperature-dependent return feed (B)
Temperature-dependent infeed
•
When different return temperatures exist in DHW or
circulation mode, the return of the freshwater station is fed
to the cylinder depending on the temperature.
