• Do not operate this appliance with
long loose hair or loose fitting jewel-
lery. Tie long loose hair back and
remove loose fitting jewellery.
• Do not allow the blower vac to pick
up any burning or smoldering mate-
rials like ashes, cigarette butts etc.
• Do not attempt to pick up breakable
objects like glass, plastics,china etc.
• Do not use in vacuum operation
without the collection bag fitted
• Do not use the blower vac in either
the vacuum or the blower position
on gravel surfaces.
• Only operate the tool during broad
daylight or with adequate artificial
light.
• When the tool is not in use, store it
in a dry place and out of reach of
children.
• After use, disconnect the tool from
the power supply and check for
damage. If you have the slightest
doubts, contract an authorized ser-
vice centre.
• Only use the tool according to the
instructions given in this manual.
• Check regularly that screws are tight.
• Use only spare parts and acces-
sories recommended by the manu-
facture.
• Do not try to repair the tool or ac-
cess internal parts. Contract author-
ized service centers only.
• This product is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge.
• Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the
product.
• Cleaning and maintenance may not
be carried out by children.
• Never allow children or people un-
familiar with the instructions to use
the machine.
• Have your dealer or a specialist show
you how to operate your trimmer.
• Local regulations may restrict the
age of the operator.
• Before use, examine the cable for
signs of damage, or ageing. Do not
use the product if the electric cables
are damaged or worn.
• Arrange the extension cord so that
it cannot be damaged and does not
cause a hindrance.
• If the cord is damaged during utili-
sation, it must be disconnected im-
mediately from the mains. DO NOT
TOUCH THE CABLE BEFORE YOU
HAVE DISCONNECTED IT FROM
THE MAINS, since damaged cable
result in contact with live parts.
• Only use a weatherproof extension
cord with a connector unit according
to IEC 60320-2-3.
• Only extension cords of type H05W-
F, H05RN-F or IEC (60227 IEC 53,
60245 IEC 57) may be used.
• If you want to use an extension
cable when operating your product,
only the following cable dimensions
should be used:
