Operation
1. Lock/unlock
If the control panel of your fridge is not locked, hold down the LOCK/UNLOCK key for 3 seconds to lock the panel. On the
display, the symbol
lights up.
If the control panel of your fridge is locked, hold down the LOCK/UNLOCK key for 3 seconds to unlock the panel. On the
display, the symbol
lights up.
When no keys are pressed for a period of 30 seconds, the control panel will lock automatically. You can only use the
functions below if the control panel is unlocked.
2. Setting the operating mode
Press MODE a number of times. The following operating modes appear in sequence:
super cool • super freeze • vacation • none
If you press MODE again after "none", the "super cool" mode appears again.
In vacation mode, the temperature of the freezer will automatically drop to -18 °C and the cooler compartment
is switched off.
In the super cool mode, the temperature of the cooler compartment automatically drops to 2 °C. When leaving the super
cool mode, the temperature returns to the previously set temperature. The fridge leaves the super cool mode when you
select a different mode or when the super cool time has lasted 6 hours or more.
In the super freeze mode, the temperature of the freezer compartment automatically drops to -24 °C. When leaving the
super freeze mode, the temperature returns to the previously set temperature. The fridge leaves the super freeze mode
when you select a different mode or when the super freeze time has lasted 24 hours or more.
Note: after a power interruption, the freezer works at -18 °C and the fridge at 5 °C.
Note: use the super freeze mode if you want to freeze a lot of food at the same time. Freezing will go faster, the nutrients will
be preserved and you are able to store the food for a long time.
3. Setting the temperature of the cooler and freezer compartments
Press TEMP. SELECT and choose for which compartment – cooler or freezer – you want to set the temperature. The led
indicator concerned and the set temperature appear on the display.
If you want to increase the shown temperature, press . The set temperature goes up by one degree each time.
If you want to decrease the shown temperature, press . The set temperature goes down by one degree each time.
You can set the temperature of the cooler compartment between 2 °C and 8 °C and that of the freezer compartment
between -24 °C and -16 °C. If you want to set a temperature outside of this range, a warning will sound indicating that your
selection is invalid. The new temperature setting becomes active when you lock the control panel. We recommend setting
the fridge to 4 °C and the freezer to -18 °C.
4. Door open melody
When you open the door, a melody will sound. You can switch off this melody if you want, and switch it on again later by
holding down the "temperature up" and "temperature down" keys at the same time for 3 seconds.
