Accessing the grease fi lter
Take hold of the right and left side of the bottom panel
(A) and pull down simultaneously. Remove the fi lter (B) by
tak ing hold of its hook and pulling down.
Cleaning the grease fi lter
The metal grease fi lter can be cleaned by hand or in a dish-
washer. We recommend cleaning the grease fi lter by hand.
Cleaning the fi lter by hand:
− Immerse the fi lter in a solution of boiling water to which
a degreasing detergent has been added.
− Use a brush for cleaning
− Then rinse the fi lters with warm water under a tap and
allow them to dry.
Cleaning the fi lter in a dishwasher:
− Use a customary dishwasher detergent
− Do not put the saturated grease fi lters together with
crockery in the dishwasher
− Select a programme with a low temperature
− After cleaning allow the fi lter to drain.
When cleaning in a dishwasher the fi lter may
discolour as a result of the salt content. This
does not affect its operation.
Replacing the grease fi lters
− Before replacing the grease fi lter, clean the edges of the
part in the extractor hood in which the fi lter is placed.
− Grasp the fi lter with 2 hands.
− Make sure that the lock or the lip on the fi lter is on the
bottom side.
− Insert the back of the fi lter in the opening, press the fi lter
upwards at the front and make sure it clicks tight.
You can obtain a new grease fi lter from a dealer
or the Novy website. Article number grease
fi lter: 7400.020
3.4 Monoblock recirculation fi lter
The hood is equipped with 1 monoblock fi lters behind
the grease fi lter.
Only use the Novy monoblock fi lter in the cooker hood.
Replacement indicator monobloc recirculation fi lter
Indication: red indicator light stays on
After a set time a red indicator light on the appliance shows
that the monobloc fi lter must be replaced.
Reset the replacement indicator
After replacing the monblock fi lter(s), carry out
the following action. The motor of the cooker
hood must be running. Simultaneously press
and
for 3 seconds until the red indicator led

fl ashes 3 times for confi rmation. If the cooker
hood is not reset, it will automatically reset
after the motor of the cooker hood has been
switched on 10 times.
Installing the monoblock fi lter
Open the bottom panel. Remove the grease fi lter.
Compress spring (A) and turn it downwards and place
monoblock fi lter (B) into the cooker hood.
