Synchronising the Handle with the Main Unit
The handle (2) communicates with the main unit (13) wirelessly. If the device does not re-
spond to the operating buttons on the handle being pressed, the transmitter in the handle
must be resynchronised with the receiver in the main unit. Proceed as follows to do this:
1. Tilt the stem mount (6) on the main unit back a little using the handle in order to trigger
the release mechanism and activate the device. The battery status display (9) lights
up.
2. Press the On / Off switch and the spray trigger (1) on the handle simultaneously and
keep them pressed until the battery status display (9) starts to fl ash for 3 to 5 sec-
onds.
3. Press the On / Off switch and keep it pressed for approx. 3 to 6 seconds until the two
cleaning feet (8) start to vibrate and the LEDs (12) switch on.
The synchronisation process is completed.
Replacing the Battery in the Handle
The handle (2) is equipped with a 12 V battery, A23 type (already inserted when the de-
vice is supplied). The battery compartment is located in the handle. If the device cannot
be switched on even though the battery of the main unit (13) is fully charged and the
handle has been synchronised with the main unit, the battery in the handle may need to
be replaced. To do this, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the two screws in the handle using a screwdriver.
2. Carefully remove the coloured cover on the top of the handle.
3. Remove the used battery and insert a new 12 V battery, A23. Pay attention to the
correct polarity.
Before inserting the battery, check whether the contacts in the handle and on the
battery are clean, and clean them if necessary.
4. Place the cover back on the handle. Make sure that the locking lug fi ts in the recess
which is provided for it.
5. Reinsert the screws and tighten them so they are hand-tight.
Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■
During cleaning make sure that no liquid gets into the main unit (apart from the water
tank) or the handle.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the housing. They may
damage the surfaces.
The mop pads may lose some of their colour over time. This is normal and does
not have any adverse eff ect on function. However, if one of the mop pads is dam-
aged or worn, it must be replaced.
•
If there is still water in the water tank, empty it.
•
Clean the device with a damp, soft cloth if necessary. Then dry it with a soft cloth.
