An additional 3-pole terminal
be placed in the insert. This terminal is needed for embedded wiring and an
attachment with sensor input to connect the sun protection / twilight sensor (twilight
switching function only in conjuction with the RolloTec
module) and/or the glass breakage sensor.
Important:
If the user desires to operate a louver-blind/shutter motor in addition to local
switching also from a master control (e.g. central control system) it is necessary to

Attention: Electrical equipment must be installed and fitted by qualified
electricians only.
The RolloTec
®
system has been developped for the activation of roller shutter or
louver-blind motors. Do not use for switching other types of loads.
For parallel connection of louver-blind/shutter motors, the instructions of the motor
manufacturers must be observed. The motors might otherwise be irreparably damaged.
Use only louver-blinds or roller shutters equipped with limit switches (mechanical or
electronic). Observe the instructions of the motor manufacturers.
The electronic interlocking circuit in the attachment permits a minimum switch-over
time of approx.1 second when the louver-blind or shutter is in the continuous
running mode.
Observe the instructions of the motor manufacturers as to switch-over delay and
maximum duty cycle.
The RolloTec
®
system has been developped for the automatic operation of roller
shutters for windows. Using the control for other applications (e.g. roller shutter
doors and gates) may involve risks.
The user must exclude these risks by installing further suitable safety devices (e.g.
light barriers).
The glass breakage sensor is glued on the window pane with a suitable 2-compound
adhesive (e.g. Loctite glass/metal adhesive). Observe the manufacturer's instructions
for use.
