Information
The device must always be placed on a fl at and stable surface. To avoid a hazard due
to accidental reset of the thermal protector, this appliance must not be powered by
an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and off by the utility company.
Avoid danger to life from electric shock
• Do not use the device with a damaged power cord or plug. Damaged electrical cables
pose a risk to life from electric shock.
• Check the electrical cables regularly for damage and aging. If the power supply line
is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, his/her representative or a
similarly qualifi ed person to avoid safety hazards.
• Protect the power cable against sharp edges, mechanical stress and hot surfaces.
• Only use the device with an earthed socket.
• Do not use the device outdoors. Make sure that the power cable never gets wet or
damp during operation.
• Do not switch on the device if you notice visible damage (e.g. cracks or cracks) or if
you suspect that the device is damaged.
For your own safety
1. Read all instructions before using the heater.
2. Only connect the heater to a single-phase socket with mains voltage as indicated on
the rating plate.
3. Do not leave your home for a long time while the appliance is operating: make sure
the switch is in the OFF (0) position and the thermostat is in the minimum position.
Always remove the plug from the socket.
4. Keep fl ammable materials such as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothing,
curtains, etc. at least 100 cm away from the stove.
5. Do not place anything on or in front of the heater.
6. Always use the heater in an upright position.
7. Do not use the device in rooms with an area smaller than 4m².
8. Always unplug the heater if you do not use the heater for a long time. Do not pull on
the cord to disconnect the plug from the socket.
9. Keep the air inlet and outlet free of objects at least 1 meter in front of and 50 cm
behind the heater.
10. Do not install the heater directly below a socket.
11. Do not allow animals or children to touch or play with the heater. Please note that
the air outlet becomes hot during use.
12. Don't cover up. If covered, there is a risk of overheating.
13. Do not use this heater near showers, bathtubs, sinks or a swimming pool, etc.
14. Do not use the heater in areas with explosive gases, fl ammable solvents, lacquer
or glue.
15. Keep the stove clean. Make sure that no objects enter the ventilation or exhaust
openings as this may cause electric shock, fi re or damage to the heater.
16. If the heater has been dropped or damaged, it should not be used until it has been
checked by a qualifi ed service center.
17. Close supervision is necessary when the heater is used by or near children,
physically challenged persons or pets.
18. Do not use to dry clothes or other fabrics.
19. Do not use the heater to dry your laundry. Never block the intake and exhaust
grilles (danger of overheating).
20. Do not move the appliance while it is in operation to avoid overheating with an
additional risk of fi re.
