m) Recording Function
• First choose the desired recording source, e.g. the tuner or the CD player.
• Start the recording (observe operating instructions for the recorder at the recorder (e.g. a cassette
deck).
The volume and sound settings do not affect the recording.
The recorder (e.g. a cassette deck) must be connected to the „TAPE REC" connection of the
receiver.
n) Playback from USB Data Carrier
• Carefully plug the USB plug, e.g. of a flash drive, into the USB connection (F) at the front of the receiver.
• Switch to the USB connection with the button „CD/USB" (K).
This is only possible if a USB data carrier has been recognised correctly.
The receiver now starts to read in the data carrier. Then playback starts automatically.
The data carrier must be formatted in file format „FAT32" (no NTFS, etc.). USB sticks up to a
capacity of 32GB and hard discs up to 1TB are recognised.
To format hard discs with the file format „FAT32" (all data will be lost), the corresponding pro-
grammes are required depending on operating system.
If you want to connect a hard disc, only use a hard disc with a separate power supply (mains
unit).
Use of USB cables is limited to a length of less than 3 m. If the cable is longer than 3 m, electro-
magnetic compatibility (EMC) may be influenced and cause interference or failures.
• Briefly pushing „66 / 66 c " (22) on the IR remote control will cause playback to jump to the next title.
• Briefly pushing „44 / c 44" (22) on the IR remote control will cause playback to jump to the next title.
• Pushing the button „6 / 3" (23) will pause or continue playback.
