CAUTION! Before ironing, check the ironing
instructions on the fabric or article of clothing .
They are usually included on a sewn-on tag .

IMPORTANT! Operate the product on an even
and solid surface .
1 . Turn the temperature control 10 counter-clockwise
all the way to MIN .
2 . Connect the power plug 7 with an appropriate
socket-outlet .
3 . Make sure the power cord 7 is laid out safely .
4 . Set the temperature control 10 to the desired
temperature .
As long as the product has not yet reached the
set temperature and is still heating up, the control
light 9 remains lit . Once the set temperature has
been reached, the control light 9 goes off .
5 . Once the set temperature has been reached, you
can begin ironing .
Filling the water tank
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Always
disconnect the power plug 7 from the socket-
outlet before filling the water tank .

CAUTION! Fill the water tank with tap water
or distilled water without any additives . If your
tap water is hard, use distilled water . Where the
water is moderately hard, mix distilled water and
tap water at a ratio of 1:1 .
NOTES:
Check the hardness of your household's water
with your local water supplier .
The water tank has a filling capacity of
approximately 220 ml .
The max mark 12 that marks the maximum
filling capacity applies when the product is set up
vertically on the base 8 .
Before filling water into the water tank: Set the
steam control 4 to the

IMPORTANT! Use the measuring cup 13 to fill
water into the water tank .
1 . Place the product on the base 8 and tip it
forward at approximately 45° .
2 . Open the lid of the fill opening
3 . Carefully pour water into the water tank . Do not
exceed the max mark 12 .
4 . Close the lid of the fill opening
Spray function
Prior to ironing, the fabric may be sprayed with
water as required . To do so, press the spray
button 5 .
