EPG (Electronic Program Guide)
To open the EPG or Guide, use the arrow keys from the home menu. You can always get to the home menu by
double clicking the back button on the remote. Via the on-screen display the EPG for the current channel can be
shown by clicking the EPG-button. The on-screen display can be shown by pressing the OK button during full screen
TV playback.
Navigate through the TV programs with the arrow keys. Click OK on the selected program to retrieve more info. Click
'Switch' in the information popup to switch directly to the channel on which the show is or will be broadcasted on.
On-Screen Display (OSD)
The OSD can be shown by pressing OK during TV playback. It states information about quality, program title, tv-
channel and provides additional options. The first two buttons (up and down) will tune to other channels in the list.
The third option stops the TV functionality, the fourth option (screen) shows the channel list with program titles. The
EPG-button shows the EPG for the current channel. On the right there are more advanced settings available. The film
roll will show options for adjusting the video settings and the speaker shows options for sound.
Language and advanced settings
The open source nature of Kodi allows for multiple settings to be changed. Most of these settings are protected with
a PIN. When this PIN is used to change settings, this is at the responsibility of the user of the mediabox. In case a
support request is made, Utelisys can ask to revert these settings to default by performing a reset. To proceed, click
the 'power off' button in the home menu of Kodi and choose to enter the master mode. A pop up will appear and ask
for the code, enter 13579 and Kodi will confirm authorization. In this manual some frequently changed settings and
features will be discussed. Documentation for other features and settings can be found on http://kodi.wiki.
International settings
Go to System > Appearance > International and navigate through the list to change language settings, regional
settings such as time formatting and choose between the metric and imperial settings for the weather widget.
