Introduction
Functionalities
The Utelisys Quad-Core Multi-Mediabox (hereafter referred to as 'mediabox') allows you to watch television on the
Utelisys network and various other multi-media applications.
The mediabox is running Android and allows you to install other apps and add-ons as well such as video-on-demand
applications. The additional USB-ports and SD-card slot can be used to mount storage with media or mouse and
keyboard. It comes preconfigured including accessories and this manual and is ready to use after installing.
Before use
The mediabox is configured to view the TV-content provided within the Utelisys network using the multi-media app
Kodi. Any other functionalities are not officially supported and can be used at the responsibility of the user.
Utelisys nor the building owner can be held responsible for any form of data loss or data leaks as a result of not
following the guidelines in this manual.
It is advised to use the mediabox in combination with a properly connected and configured (wireless) router. Most
(wireless) routers should also perform sufficient but are not officially supported. Wireless connectivity can be
configured, but it is advised to connect the mediabox using an Ethernet/Network cable. Wireless connectivity is not
officially supported due to the risk of interference and signal strength and at the responsibility of the user.

Updates
As updates to the mediabox may occur during the usage of the mediabox it is advised to backup any personal
information stored on the device before performing the update.
Returning the mediabox
Before returning the mediabox please make sure you have reset the mediabox to default settings which will wipe any
personal data stored on the mediabox. This can be done by pressing the 'settings' button on the remote control and
browsing to 'Reset'. This will wipe any personal data.

Quick Setup Guide
Connections

Connect the HDMI cable to the box and your TV

Connect the Ethernet/Network cable between the mediabox and a LAN-port on the router

Connect the power cable to the box and plug it into an outlet
Configuration & Controls

Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI connection in the input menu or source menu of your TV

The box will show a setup-guide, click OK to continue
