When using diamond cutting discs, pay attention that the direction-of-rotation
arrow on the diamond cutting disc and the direction of rotation of the machine
(see direction-of-rotation arrow on the machine head) agree.
Changing the wheel when the safety guard is fitted (K):
For clamping and loosening the grinding tools, lock the grinder spindle with the
spindle lock button (E).
Actuate the spindle lock button only when the grinder spindle is at a standstill.
Otherwise, the machine may become damaged.
With this button depressed rotate the wheel until it has profoundly gone deeper.
Unscrew fixing flange (F) by a special wrench. Place the new wheel on the
support flange with the inscriptions facing up, and screw down flange (F) using
the lock nut wrench.
Metalbrushes:
The cup brush/disc brush must be able to be screwed onto the grinder spindle
until it rests firmly against the grinder spindle flange at the end of the grinder
spindle threads. Tighten the cup brush/disc brush with an open-end spanner.
In order to check whether the spindle stop is released before you switch
on the tool, turn the spindle slightly.
Let the machine run for a short period of time and in a safe position. If the
machine does not run easily, stop working immediately.
Observe the permissible rotational/ circumferential speed on the label of
the grinding tool.
Instructions for Use
For cutting off mineral materials, always use the green suction
•
hood (D) in combination with a diamond cutting wheel.
For cutting off metal, always use the black safety guard (K).

One wheel guard must be mounted on the machine.
•
Setting the depth of cut – only if the suction hood is used (D):
You can set the required depth of cut on the suction hood to between 5 and
65 mm.
To do so, loosen the lock pin on the depth adjustment (L), and with the pin
pulled out, turn the knob to the required position according to the scale on the
suction hood.
Make sure that the pin locks again after adjustment.
Make sure that the bolt after adjusting again clicks into place.
Check it before
depth limit!
Only use combinations of diamond cutting discs, Cutting System with
mounted guard and extraction hood as well as dust category M vacuum
cleaners that are recommended by EIBENSTOCK. Other combinations can
lead to insufficient dust collection and separation.
